IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026:- The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 (CRP CSA-XVI) notification for 11,403 Customer Service Associate (CSA/Clerk) vacancies in participating Public Sector Banks across India.

Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree can submit their online applications from 1 August 2026 to 21 August 2026 through the official IBPS website.

For Assam, a total of 349 vacancies have been announced, making it one of the biggest recruitment drives for banking aspirants in the state.

About IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026

IBPS has released the 16th Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XVI) for recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA) in 11 participating Public Sector Banks for the recruitment year 2027-28.

The online application process starts from 1 August 2026 and will continue until 21 August 2026.

A total of 11,403 indicative vacancies have been announced across India.

For Assam, 349 vacancies are available, which is significantly higher than the previous year’s 204 vacancies.

Note: Union Bank of India has not yet reported its vacancies. Therefore, the final vacancy count may increase before provisional allotment in March 2027.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment Selection Process

There is No Interview.

Selection consists of:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Examination
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (Qualifying)
  4. Provisional Allotment

Only Main Examination Marks are considered for final merit.

Negative Marking:

  • 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
  • No deduction for unanswered questions.
