Selection Process
The selection process for Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025 consists of multiple stages:
1. Online Test
- Type: Objective-type questions.
- Language: Bilingual (English and Hindi, except for the English paper).
- Marking Pattern:
- +1 mark for each correct answer.
- -0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Exam Pattern:
- Science Subjects:
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Syllabus: English, Physics, and Mathematics (10+2 CBSE syllabus)
- Other Than Science Subjects:
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Syllabus: English (10+2 CBSE syllabus), Reasoning, and General Awareness (RAGA)
- Both Science and Other Than Science Subjects:
- Duration: 85 minutes
- Syllabus: Physics, Mathematics, English (10+2 CBSE syllabus), and RAGA
- Science Subjects:
- Admit Card: Issued from 23rd September 2025 onwards, sent to registered email IDs 48-72 hours before the exam. Candidates must carry a color printout of the admit card, a blue/black pen, and an original Aadhaar card to the exam center.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates who qualify for the online test will be called for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II at designated Air Force Selection Centres (ASCs). The PFT consists of two parts:
PFT-I
- 1.6 Km Run:
- Male: Within 7 minutes
- Female: Within 8 minutes
PFT-II (Conducted after 10 minutes of recuperation)
- Male Candidates:
- 10 Push-ups: Within 1 minute
- 10 Sit-ups: Within 1 minute
- 20 Squats: Within 1 minute
- Female Candidates:
- 10 Sit-ups: Within 1 minute 30 seconds
- 15 Squats: Within 1 minute

3. Adaptability Test-II

4. Medical Examination

Medical Standards
Height Requirements:
- Male Candidates: Minimum 152 cm
- Female Candidates: Minimum 152 cm
- For North East/Uttarakhand candidates: 147 cm
- For Lakshadweep candidates: 150 cm
Other Medical Requirements:
- Chest: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion (for males)
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Hearing: Normal (able to hear forced whisper from 6 meters)
- Dental: Healthy gums with minimum 14 dental points
- General Health: Free from any medical or surgical disability
