ST Scholarship Assam 2025 : The Government of Assam is inviting fresh and renewal applications for Pre-Matric (Class IX & X) and Post-Matric Scholarshipsfor students belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) for the academic year 2025-26. Applications must be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)at www.scholarships.gov.in. Only students studying in Government, Government-aided, or recognized schools, higher secondary schools, colleges, universities, and medical/technical institutions with valid U-DISE/AISHE/NCVT codes are eligible. Pre-Matric Scholarship to ST students studying in Class IX – X
Students applying for the above schemes must register in NSP through the NSP OTR app (available on Google Play Store) with face-authentication for generating a One Time Registration (OTR) number, which is mandatory.
Aadhaar and mobile number registered with Aadhaar are mandatory for generating OTR (details at scholarships.gov.in).
Students must upload a digital income certificate of their parents/guardians issued by the concerned Circle/Revenue Officer.
Students should also upload a Digital Caste certificate issued by the District Commissioner of their respective Districts. If the applicant name/surname differs in the Caste certificate, an affidavit duly notarized justifying the differences is required.
Students must have a valid Bank account seeded with their Aadhaar, as scholarships will be credited to Aadhaar-seeded accounts only.

Register using the NSP OTR app and complete the application form.
Upload required documents (income certificate, caste certificate, etc.) before submission.
