Eligibility Criteria for SSUHS BSc Nursing
Candidates must satisfy the following conditions to apply for the B.Sc. Nursing program:
- Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for admission into Government Institutes of Assam.
- Residency: A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is mandatory for admission into Government Institutes.
- Age Limit: * Minimum age: 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed the 12th Standard $(10+2)$ Science examination.
- Must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together.
- Must have passed English as a compulsory subject.
- Candidates must pass both Theory and Practical exams individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Candidates from State Open Schools or NIOS are also eligible, provided they have Science subjects and English.
