NHM Assam Recruitment 2026 :- The National Health Mission (NHM), Assam has released an official notification inviting applications from in-service Medical Officers for admission into Two-Year Diploma Courses. These courses are conducted under the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Assam, for the academic session 2026.
Eligible MBBS doctors currently working on a regular basis under the Health & FW (A) Department, Government of Assam, can apply online through the official NHM portal.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these diploma courses, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: Must possess an MBBS degree.
- Service Status: Must be working on a regular appointment under the Health & FW (A) Deptt., Govt. of Assam.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of continued service as of the last date of application.
- Exclusion: Doctors who have already completed any clinical Diploma or Degree are not eligible to apply.
Salary and Service Bond
- Service Status: The study period will be treated as “in-service.”
- Salary: Selected candidates will be entitled to draw their regular salary during the course duration.
- Post-Course Posting: After successful completion, doctors must serve in FRUs/SDH/District Hospitals where their specialized services are required.
