Assam HS 1st Year Admission 2025 – Apply Online

📢 HS 1st Year Admission 2025 – Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has officially started the online admission process for Class 11 (HS 1st Year) for the academic session 2025-26 through the DARPAN portal. Students who have passed their Class 10 (HSLC) exams from SEBA or other recognized boards can now apply online for admission into HS 1st Year (Arts, Science, Commerce, Vocational streams) in various institutions of Assam.

📝 How to Apply for HS 1st-Year Admission?

Students who have passed the Matriculation (HSLC) Examination can apply for admission into Class 11 through the official DARPAN portal by following these simple steps:

1. Scroll down and check the Important Links section on the post or portal.
2. Click on the “Admission Form” link to access the online application portal.
3. On the portal, click on “Register a New Account” to begin your application.
4. On the next page, choose your preferred college/institution, course type, and other necessary details.
5. Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph, HSLC marksheet, and other required documents.
6. After filling in all the required details and reviewing them, click the “Submit” button to complete the process.
7. After submission, download and keep the system-generated acknowledgment for future reference.
8. Keep checking the portal regularly. You will be informed via the portal regarding which institute(s) you have been selected for admission.

📄 Required Documents for HS 1st-Year Admission

Before proceeding with the online application, students must keep the following documents ready in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. Each file should be a maximum of 1 MB in size.

• ✅ Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
• ✅ Disability Certificate (If Applicable)

🎓 Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List 2025

Seats in schools and colleges will be allotted based on a student’s performance in the Matriculation (HSLC) Examination. Students are allowed to apply to multiple institutions for admission.

The institute-wise merit list of selected candidates will be published on the DARPAN Portal on 27th April 2025 at 10:00 AM.

After the merit list is published, students must log in to the DARPAN Portal and select one school/college from the list of institutions where they have been selected. ⚠️ Please note: The selection of the institution is a one-time and irreversible process, so students are strongly advised to choose carefully.
