SSUHS ANM Entrance Examination 2026 – Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released an Educational Notice for the ANM Entrance Examination 2026 for admission into the ANM Course in Government ANM Training Schools of Assam for the academic session 2026-27.

SSUHS ANM Entrance Examination 2026 Eligibility Criteria
According to the official notification, candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements for admission into the ANM course.
1. Citizenship
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Permanent Resident of Assam
The candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam and must furnish a certificate proving this status.
3. Minimum Age
The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31 December of the year in which admission is sought.
4. Maximum Age
The maximum age for admission is 35 years.
5. Age Relaxation for Certain Workers
For Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers and Trained Dias, applying for admission to ANM courses in Government Multipurpose Health Worker Training Schools/ANM Schools, the maximum age is relaxed from 35 years to 42 years.
6. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 12 years of schooling (H.S./10+2-year course) recognized by:
- CBSE
- ICSE
- SSCE
- HSCE
- Or a recognized equivalent examination.
7. Medical Fitness
Admission is subject to submission of a satisfactory medical examination report.
8. Female Candidates Only
The official notification clearly states that admission to the ANM course is restricted only to female candidates.
Reservation
The reservation of seats for the ANM Training Course in Government Institutes will be as per Government norms. The distribution and reservation of seats, including admission, will be notified by the Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam in due course.
SSUHS ANM Entrance Exam 2026 Pattern
The entrance examination will consist of one question paper containing questions from:

- Mathematics
- General Science
The questions will be of 10th standard level.
