The Office of the Assam State Level EMRS Society, Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam has released an official notification for the engagement of Female Staff Nurses in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across different districts of Assam. The recruitment will be on a purely contractual basis for the academic year 2025–26 or until the appointment of regular staff by NESTS, whichever is earlier.

Emrs Assam Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following educational qualifications and experience requirements:
Option 1 – B.Sc Nursing
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing / Regular B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 2.5 years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital.
Option 2 – GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
- GNM from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 2.5 years of experience in a 30-bedded hospital.
Additional Requirement
- Candidate must be registered as a Nurse or Nurse Mid-wife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Council.
