Provisional Assam State Merit List Published
- The merit list is now available on the official website:
🔗 www.dme.assam.gov.in - Admission into MBBS/BDS courses will be strictly as per:
“The Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses) Rules 2017 (Amended up to 2025)”. - All eligible candidates must keep ready the Annexures mentioned in the Admission Rules for the counselling process.
Assam State Provisional Merit List for NEET-UG 2025
The Assam State Provisional Merit List for NEET-UG 2025 has been published on the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam: www.dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates are advised to check the merit list and prepare for the upcoming counselling process.

Important Instructions for Candidates
1️⃣ Category Change Request
- Candidates willing to change their category must:
- Apply in the prescribed format (available on www.dme.assam.gov.in)
- Submit the application with supporting documents in person to:
Office of the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam
2nd Floor, Room No. 5 - Last Date: 11th July 2025
- Applications via Post or Email will NOT be accepted.
- Collect acknowledgement receipt at the time of submission.
2️⃣ Candidates Studied Outside Assam (VII-XII)
- Eligible NEET UG 2025 candidates belonging to Assam (with valid PRC) who studied outside Assam (Class VII-XII) must:
- Apply in plain paper with valid documents to the Directorate.
- Submit the application in person by 11th July 2025 during office hours.
- Applications via Post or Email will NOT be accepted.
- Collect acknowledgement receipt at the time of submission.
3️⃣ Special Quota Claims
