Notice: This is for general information to all candidates who appeared in the Paramedical Entrance Examination, 2024 conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences for admission into vacant seats of diploma in para-medical sciences course in the Institutes of Paramedical Sciences attached to the Govt. Medical Colleges of Assam for the session 2024.

- Date of Counseling: 18th March 2025
- Venue: Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati – 22
- Time: 10:00 AM onwards
- Admission Date 27th or 28th March/ 2025
Eligibility Criteria
- General Category: Candidates who secured 34 marks or above in Paramedical Entrance Examination – 2024.
- Reserved Categories (OBC/MOBC-NCL, SC, ST(P), ST(H)): Candidates who secured between 31 and 34 marks.
Required Documents
- Admit Card of Paramedical Entrance Examination – 2024
- Marks sheets of HSSLC or equivalent examination
- Admit Card of HSLC or equivalent examination
- Pass Certificates of Class X and Class XII examination
- Permanent Resident Certificate
- Caste certificates (wherever applicable)
- NCL certificate for OBC/MOBC category candidates
- Unemployed Family certificate
- EWS certificate (wherever applicable)
- Recent passport size photo
Note for Char Area Candidates: Certificates must be issued by Char Area Development Authority and countersigned by the concerned DC/SDO.
Important Notes
- Candidates must appear personally for counseling on the scheduled dates and time.
- Failure to appear will result in forfeiture of the seat.
- The decision of the Selection Board shall be final and binding in case of any controversy.
- Candidates must bring a duly filled-in ‘Counselling Form’ available on the official website: www.dme.assam.gov.in.
- Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly for updates.
Admission Reporting Instructions
Selected candidates must report to the Principal’s office of their respective Government Medical College on 27th or 28th March 2025 with the following:
- Original Documents Required:
- Admit Card, Mark Sheets, and Pass Certificates (HSLC & HSSLC or equivalent)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- EWS/NCL Certificate (if applicable)
- Release Order (for re-allotted candidates)
- Conditions:
- Failure to report on time will result in seat cancellation.
- Admission is provisional and subject to:
- Document verification
- Medical fitness clearance from the college’s Medical Board.
- Re-Allotted Candidates:
- Must collect original documents from their previous college and submit them to the newly allotted college immediately.
Important Notes:
- The list is provisional—final admission depends on eligibility verification.
- No extensions will be granted for reporting deadlines.
- Candidates must comply with all institutional guidelines.
