Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
B.Sc. Nursing degree or equivalent from an INC-recognized institution.
Minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).
Citizenship & Residency:
Must be an Indian citizen.
Permanent Resident of Assam (waived for NEC candidates or dependents of Assam Govt. employees).
Professional Requirements:
Valid R.N./R.M. certificate from the State Nursing Council.
1-year work experience post-B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
NEC Candidates:
Must submit applications forwarded by an NEC representative.
Exempt from Assam residency requirement but must appear for the exam.

Obtain the application form from the Office of the Principal, Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati, starting 02.05.2025.
Cost: Rs. 1000/- (Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favor of “Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences”, payable at SBI, GMC Branch, Guwahati).
Submission Deadline:
Last date to submit filled applications: 31-05-2025.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable), payable online via the SSUHS website (www.ssuhs.in > Fee Collect > Student Category > Entrance Exam Fee).
Exemption: PwD (Divyang) candidates.

Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Venue: Guwahati
Format: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on the B.Sc. Nursing syllabus.
Negative Marking: Not applicable.
Admit Card:
Collect from the Office of the Principal, Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati, from 16-06-2025 onwards.
Reservation Policy:
Seats reserved as per Assam Government rules.
