📝 Admission Process (2 Simple Steps)
Step 1: Registration & Profile Completion
📌 Starts: 11th April 2025 (04:00 PM)
- Create an account on the SAMARTH Portal.
- Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload required documents (ID proof, photograph, etc.).
Step 2: Institution & Program Selection
📌 Begins After: Class 12/HS Results Declaration
- Choose preferred colleges and courses.
- Lock selections before the deadline (to be announced later).
(Note: You can complete Step 1 anytime, even after Step 2 begins.)
Admission Process
The admission process consists of four main steps:
- Registration
- Profile Completion
- Programme Selection
- Application Submission
Step 1: Registration
New applicants must register to begin the admission process. Follow these steps:
- Click on “New Registration” on the portal.
- Fill in the required details:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Valid Email Address (must be accessible throughout the admission process)
- Mobile Number (10 digits)
- Password (for account login)
- Complete Captcha Verification.
- Click “Register”—an OTP will be sent to your mobile number for verification.
- Enter the OTP to complete registration.
Important Notes:
- Use a non-editable email address (e.g., Gmail).
- Ensure all details match official documents (e.g., Class X certificate).
- Recommended browser: Google Chrome (latest version).
Step 2: Profile Completion
After logging in, complete your profile in five sections:
- Personal Details:
- Name, DOB, gender, blood group, domicile status, etc.
- Upload a photograph (10KB–500KB, .jpg/.jpeg).
- Family Details:
- Parents’ names, occupations, contact numbers, family income.
- University Registration (if applicable):
- Previous enrollment details.
- Other Categories/Quotas:
- PwBD, Kashmiri migrant, ex-serviceman, etc.
- Address:
- Permanent and correspondence addresses.
→ Save & Preview before proceeding.
Step 3: Programme Selection
Once your profile is confirmed (non-editable), select your desired program:
- Navigate to “Programme Selection” from the dashboard.
- Choose:
- University → College → Programme Level → Scheme Type → Programme.
- Select subjects (if applicable) and agree to university policies.
- Click “Proceed”.
Tip: Check the “Programme Information” section for course details before applying.
Step 4: Academic Details & Document Upload
- Academic Information:
- Enter Class X/XII details (year of passing, board, marks, subjects).
- For pending results: Upload a provisional undertaking.
- Document Upload:
- Required files (10KB–500KB, .jpg/.jpeg):
- Photo, signature, Class X/XII mark sheets, ID proof.

- Review all details and edit if needed before submission.
Confirmation & Submission
- Check all checkboxes in the declaration section.
