RIPANS Admission 2026:- The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has released an Educational Notice for counselling for nomination of candidates for admission into various courses at the Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences (RIPANS), Aizawl for the session 2026.
As per the official notice, offline counselling will be conducted for candidates seeking admission against the seats allotted to the Government of Assam. The counselling will be held on 3 September 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards at the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.

RIPANS Courses, Seats, Duration & Eligibility
According to the DME Assam notice, admission is available for the following degree courses.
1. Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
Number of Seats: 4
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility:
- Candidate must have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) with Science.
- Must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.
- Must have passed English individually.
- Candidate must be medically fit.
- Minimum age is 17 years on 31 December of the year in which admission is sought.
- Maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Entrance test shall be conducted by the University/State Government.
2. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Number of Seats: 3
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB/PCM and English, or hold a Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
3. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
Number of Seats: 3
Duration: 3 years + 1 year Internship
Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany + Zoology) subjects.
4. Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom)
Number of Seats: 3
Duration: 4 years + 1 year Internship
Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics with 50% marks.
5. Bachelor of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (B.MRIT)
Number of Seats: 3
Duration: 3 years + 1 year Internship

Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
6. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) with 50% aggregate marks and English pass.
7. Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with Honours (BND)

Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks and English.
SSUHS CEE & Minimum Marks for Counselling

The notice specifies 85+ marks in SSUHS CEE-2026 B.Sc. Nursing, 75+ marks in the Allied Healthcare CEE for BMLS, B.Optom, B.MRIT and BND, and 81+ marks in the Pharmacy CEE for B.Pharm. For BPT, the required NEET-UG-2026 score is 213 or above for UR candidates and 177 or above for ST/OBC/SC category candidates.
