Assam EMRS Guest Teacher Recruitment 2025 –The Assam State Level EMRS Society, under the Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam, has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Guest Teachers in various Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across Assam. The engagement will be on a purely contractual basis for the academic year 2025–26 or until regular appointments are made by NESTS, whichever is earlier.

Assam EMRS recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate from a recognized institution.
- B.Ed. Degree from a recognized university/institute approved by NCTE.
- Qualified in TET (Teacher Eligibility Test).
- Proficiency in English medium teaching.
Age Limit (as on 01.06.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 60 years
- Retired teachers (up to 65 years) from State Govt., KVS, NVS, or reputed CBSE schools may also apply.

Period of Engagement
The appointment is purely contractual for one academic year (2025–26) or until the posting of regular teachers by NESTS. Extension of service depends on performance and discretion of the EMRS Society.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on academic performance, experience, and interview conducted at the District Level.
A District Level Committee chaired by the District Commissioner will prepare a panel of shortlisted candidates for final approval.

Application Process
Interested candidates must submit their applications to the District Commissioner’s Office of the concerned EMRS.
