The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam, has announced the commencement of the admission process for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for the academic session 2025-26. Aspiring candidates aiming to pursue a career in elementary education can apply through the official SCERT Assam portal starting from May 18, 2025. The admission for Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2025 will be based on the Pre-Entry Test (PET) conducted by SCERT, ensuring a seamless entry into the program.

Minimum Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2] or equivalent from a recognized Board/Council.
- They must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate, excluding marks in optional/extra/fourth subjects.
- For SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks.
Age Criteria
- The candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 34 years as on 1st July, 2025.
- A relaxation of 2 years in the upper age limit will be given to candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories.
