ASSAM CEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for ASTU CEE 2026, candidates must fulfill the following primary requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam with a valid PRC.
- Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2026 (No upper age limit).
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination in a single sitting without grace marks.
- Minimum Marks: At least 45% for General category and 40% for Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC) in the qualifying examination.
- Diploma Holders: Candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology from SCTE Assam with 45% (40% for reserved) marks are also eligible. Alternative eligibility:
- 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks
OR - B.Sc degree with Mathematics at 10+2 level
Examination Pattern & Marking Scheme
The entrance test will be a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type exam.
- Total Questions: 120 Questions.
- Subject Distribution: Mathematics (40), Physics (40), and Chemistry (40).
- Medium: Both English and Assamese.
- Marking System: * +4 marks for every correct answer.
- -1 mark for every wrong answer (Negative Marking).
- OMR Sheet: Candidates must use a Black Ball Point Pen only to shade their answers.
