Assam VFA Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (as of 01/01/2025):
   • Maximum 30 years for General candidates.
   • Relaxation:
     • 3 years for OBC/MOBC.
     • 5 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H).
   • Age Proof: Only HSSLC (or equivalent) admit/certificate is accepted.
2. Educational Qualification:
   • HSSLC (Science) passed with Biology from a recognized board/university.
3. Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam (PRC required).

Application Process

• Application Fee: No fee for any category.
• How to Apply:
  1. Submit the online application form available from 14 June 2025 (12:00 Hrs) to 13 July 2025 (23:59 Hrs).
  2. Upload scanned copies of required documents (see below).
  3. No offline applications will be accepted.

1. HSSLC admit/certificate (age proof).
2. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or receipt of PRC application.
3. HSSLC (Science) mark sheet.

Selection Process

1. Merit Calculation:
   • HSSLC Biology marks (A): 40% weightage.
   • Percentage of marks in HSLC (B): 20% weightage.
   • Personal Assessment Test (PAT) (C): 40% weightage (covers Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and General Awareness).
2. Final Merit List: Prepared based on total marks (A+B+c) and reservation policy.

Important Notes

• Incomplete/wrong applications will be rejected.
• Original documents must be produced during PAT.
• No age relaxation beyond specified limits.
• The department reserves the right to modify/cancel the process.
