Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech (Fresh Entry):
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Chemistry not mandatory for Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering).
- Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the above subjects.
- Valid CEE Assam-2025 or JEE-2025 (Mains) score.
- Age: 17–21 years as of August 1, 2025 (relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST; 22 years for B.Sc. graduates).
- Must be an Indian citizen with Assam permanent residency (not required for JEE candidates).
B.Tech (Lateral Entry):
- Passed a three-year Diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology with 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) or a B.Sc. degree with 45% marks and 10+2 with Mathematics.
- Physically fit and of good moral character.
M.Tech:
- B.E./B.Tech in relevant branches with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5/10.
- Valid GATE score or qualify in the institute’s entrance exam if GATE-qualified candidates are insufficient.
- For Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering: MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT/Electronics) with 55% marks may apply.
