Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar (CITK) invites applications for admission to its Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs for the academic session 2025–26. Located in Assam’s Bodoland region, CITK is a Deemed-to-be University under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar (CITK) is a premier technical institution located in the Kokrajhar district of Assam, within the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Established in 2006 as part of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Accord, CITK was envisioned to cater to the educational aspirations of the local populace and promote technical education in the region

CIT Kokrajhar Admission 2025 Important Dates

🏷️ Reservation Policy – CIT Kokrajhar Admissions 2025–26

CIT Kokrajhar follows a structured reservation policy for admission into its programs. The distribution of seats is as follows:

🔹 (a) 60% of Seats – From BTR Region

These seats are reserved for candidates from the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), with the following internal distribution:

• 60% – Scheduled Tribes (ST)
• 5% – Scheduled Castes (SC)
• 15% – Other Backward Classes (OBC)
• 20% – Open/Unreserved

🔹 (b) 20% of Seats – From North-East Region (excluding BTR)

Reserved for candidates from other North-Eastern states outside the BTR.
➡️ Reservation within this category follows Government of India rules.

🔹 (c) 17% of Seats – From All India (excluding North-East)

Open to candidates from all over India, excluding the North-Eastern region.
➡️ Reservation within this category also follows Government of India norms.

🔹 (d) 3% of Seats – Persons with Disabilities (PwD)

Reserved for PwD candidates, across all categories.
➡️ Reservation policy as per Government of India guidelines.

🔁 Seat Conversion Rule

If any of the seats under categories (b), (c), or (d) remain vacant, they will be transferred to candidates from the BTR region.

The entrance examinations for Diploma, B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, and M.Des programs will be conducted at the following centers:

5. Guwahati
6. Tezpur
7. Dibrugarh

The CIT Entrance Examination 2025 will be held on:

CITKEE-2025 Result Announcement

We are pleased to inform all candidates that the results for CITKEE-2025 will be officially declared on 20th June 2025 at 5:00 PM. The selected list of eligible candidates for admission will be made available on the Notice Board of the Institute as well as on the official Institute website.
