General Information

The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2025 for admission to B.Tech. programme in the colleges of Assam shall be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University.

The CEE-2025 will be conducted as per the syllabus of Assam State School Education Board, Division –II (Higher Secondary Division).

Examination Date: 27th April, 2025 (Sunday) from 11:00 a.m – 02:00 p.m.

Examination Centers: Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Guwahati, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, Silchar, Tezpur.

Application Fee: Rs. 1350/- (Non-refundable).

Application Period: 5th February, 2025 to 27th February, 2025.

Admit Card Download: 12th April, 2025 to 23rd April, 2025.

Results: Will be published on www.astu.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
• The applicant must be a Permanent resident of Assam.
• Candidates must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories).
• Candidates must not be below 17 years on the date of registration.
• Candidates must possess a good moral character and be physically and mentally fit.

Application Process

Candidates must apply through the online application form available on the official website. Ensure that you have the following before applying:

• A computer with good Internet connectivity.
• Recent photograph in JPG/JPEG format (25-35 KB).
• Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format (15-30 KB).
• Valid email ID and mobile number.
• Debit/Credit card or Net banking for payment.

Note: No corrections can be made after submission of the application form.

Exam Pattern

The CEE-2025 will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration with 120 multiple-choice questions. The distribution of questions is as follows:

• Mathematics: 40 Questions
• Physics: 40 Questions
• Chemistry: 40 Questions

For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Admit Card

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website from 12th April, 2025 to 23rd April, 2025. The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination center.

Results and Counselling

The results will be published on the official website. Counselling will be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Assam. Candidates are advised to regularly check the DTE website for updates.
